Memorial service to be held on Saturday, September 23 at Calvin's Milwaukie home. A second memorial service to be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall in Moses Lake, Washington state. Private burial service in Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Arrangements handled by Portland Memorial Funeral Home.

Obit provides Calvin's birthplace. Calvin served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He moved to Moses Lake, working as a carpenter for L and S Construction, retiring in 1981. In 1996, he moved to Milwaukie, Oregon.

He was married twice. First to Frances Lyon in 1940 and she died in 1973. His second marriage was to Naomi, who died in 1993.

Survived by one daughter, a step-son, one sister, and three brothers.
