WALTER E. KORLESKY
(1891 - 1973)
Walter E. Korlesky, 82, of 922 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Korlesky was born May 8, 1891 at Manitowoc, son of the late Martin and Nettie Betka Korlesky. He was a Manitowoc resident all his life. He married Sophie Andrastek Sept. 23, 1911 at St. Mary Church, Manitowoc. Prior to his retirement 17 years ago, he had been employed at Emil Schaus Sheet Metal Co. for a period of 52 years. His wife preceded him in death Jan. 26, 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph and Victor, of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Florian (Florence) Budysz of Manitowoc, Mrs. Oliver (Alice) Tollefson, of Mishicot and Mrs. Robert (Phylis) Andrewski of Villa Park, Ill.; a brother, Alex of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Komoroski and Mrs. Valeria Smugler of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A brother, Frank, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 pm Monday where a memorial service will be held at 7:45 pm.
