He retired from the City of Providence after 23 years of service. He was a member and deacon of Primitive Baptist Church in Providence.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Providence; one daughter, Debbie Snyder and one son, Ryan Jennings, both of Providence; two sisters, Gayle Jennings and Sue Farmer, both of Providence.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 from the Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Moseley officiating.
Burial was in Jennings Cemetery in Providence.
Melton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
