TENTH MICHIGAN REUNION

Only fifty members of the original company are left. It is said of the gallant troops that on April 22, 1862 left this city for the front in command of Captain Lum, some time since deceased. The president of the regimental association is Sylvan TerBush of Pontiac, the only commissioned officer alive today. While Bivouaked in Flint from 1861 to 1862, the troops were camped on what was formerly known as the old burying ground, now the site of the Webster plant of the Durant-Dort Carriage Company on the Richfield Road.
