Charles L. Duff, Sr., 59, of Rt. 2, Bristol, died Saturday December 3, 2005, at United Hospital Center. Mr. duff was born September 10, 1946 in Shay, Ohio; a son of the late Fird Duff and Grace McClead Duff of Marietta, Ohio. In June 1973 he married Leaunda Lue A Edmonson Duff who preceded him in death on May 22, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter, Marsha Ellen Duff, West Union and son Charles L. Duff, II, of Bristol; one grandson, Gary Wayne Davis and one brother Bill Duff, Marietta, Ohio and two nieces, April and Lisa Duff. Mr. Duff was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and James Duff. He was a logger and horse trader.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main Street, Salem with Rev. Lillian Simmorns officiating. Burial followed in the Jarvisville Baptist Church Cemetery.
