Unfortunately, every stone on this lot is damaged. The white marble footstones are all eroded, some beyond legibility. The principal family monument has suffered much worse damage, perhaps from a storm-toppled tree long ago. Half of its base, which held most of the inscriptions, is simply gone. From what remains, it is evident that all names but one were listed without birth or death dates on any of the stones. Surviving inscriptions follow:
---Principal monument:
---Front::
The front of the monument is completely gone.
---Left side:
"The Cross is the Way to Salvation"
Lewis F. and Haynes,
Sons of D. P. and M. H. Lord.
Caroline F. Lord
Only Daughter.
---Right side:
Esther R. Lord
John Haynes Lord
Alleine Lord
---Rear:
This side, the only one still intact, was never inscribed.
---Row of 3 footstones on the left side of the lot, front to back:
1) Caroline Forman Lord
2) and 3) are both illegible.
---Row of 5 footstones on the right side of the lot, front to back:
1) Alleine Lord
2) Esther R. Lord / Died Aug. 25, 1889 / Aged 78 years
