In 1848, I find a Dr. Schuyler Pulford's death listed in the October 6, 1848 issue of the Mineral Point Tribune and on the 1850 census, one Mariah Pulford (b. 1798, NY), along with 17yr. old male, R.D. Pulford and female 10yr. old, P.G. Pulford, residing with her. In one of the 1850 issues of a Mineral Point paper, P. Garetta Pulford dies. In 1860, a Laura Pulford (b. 1798, NY) is residing within Edward Coyle's (27y b. Irel.) residence and R.D. is residing with his wife, Emerilla, also born in N.Y., along with an Alice Brunsen [Bronson] 14yrs. old and others unknown to me. By 1870, two nieces, Alice (25yrs.) and Jeannete (27yrs.) Bronson are residing in Rufus' household. By 1900, there is a 55 yr. old Nettie/Nete b. in July 1845, Ohio and whose widowed father, Albert Bronson, b. June of 1817, NY, was residing with her. Albert's parents were natives of Connecticut. Was he the same Albert Bronson, who in 1880 was a widowed storekeeper in Eldorado, Fond du Lac, WI ? Could the above named niece, Alice Maria Bronson, daughter of one Albert be the husband of a Pamelia A. Bronson, whose daughter, Alice Bronson, married Sydney Cotterell of WI and son of Charles and Amelia Cotterell, were married 6 Nov 1871 in Mineral Point, WI?

Samuel Decatur Pulford, son of L.S. and Maria A. Pulford, married Mary Downing Bracken, a daughter of John Bracken, 13 May 1853, Iowa Co., WI.

There is a death notice in the Aug of 1906, for a Bracken Pulford.
