Miss Phillips had been an invalid for several years and was seldom to be seen away her home but had many friends in the community of which she was one of the earliest white natives. Her life was quiet and uneventful, yet one of pleasant memory to all who came within its current.
When quite young she affiliated with the ME church and was one of its most consistent and faithful members. She passed from peaceful life to peaceful death, with perfect confidence that everlasting peace awaits her in the country beyond.
