Mrs. Myrtis Branscum, 78, of Leslie (Searcy County), mother of Janice Dollar of Conway, died Tuesday (Jan. 18, 2000).
Born Oct. 17, 1921, in Campbell, Ark., a daughter of the late Dewey and Clara George Morrison, she was a homemaker and a member of Oxley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Branscum, and a daughter, Wilma Broad.
Other survivors are a brother, Samuel Morrison of Mountain View; three sisters, Maxine Horton of Marshall, Deane Spurlock of Bay of Craighead County and Faye Sutterfield of Plainview of Yell County; seventeen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Elberta Cemetery.
Mrs. Branscum's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
