Ida McGuffey, 62, of Bowling Green, passed away on Oct. 27, 2013.

She was a stay-at-home wife, mother and grandmother, baby-sat for many years and was loved by all. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Margie Cornwell and was also preceded in death by brothers SB, William Henry, Rondell and Timmy Cornwell, and sisters Joyce, Bobbie, Martina and Linda Faye. She is survived by brothers Buck and Mikey Cornwell; sisters Wilma West and Pansy Powell; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Luther (Jr.) McGuffey, of 45 years; children, Ricky (Heather), Nicki (Grayson) and Keri (John); grandchildren, Kyle (Felicia), Matt, Tyler, Ashley, Adam, Bryson and Ryder; a great-grandson, Braylon; a special sister-in-law and dear friend, Jean Carter; and special extended family members Kim (Eddie), Jenni (Nick) and Wendy (John).

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
