Darlene A. Hise, 74 of Valparaiso passed away Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born on June 30, 1939 in Valparaiso the daughter of the late, George and Amanda Shaw. Darlene was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Portage and enjoyed researching the family genealogy.
On July 3, 1957 at Liberty Bible Church, Darlene married Charles E. Hise who preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by her children, Richard Hise of Crown Point, Robert (Cheryl) Hise of Kouts, and Amanda (Nicholas) Tockert of South Haven; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Leonard (Donna) Shaw of Valparaiso. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jaime Shaw.
