(Isaac Grady) Foster in the Watauga Township, Watauga County, North Carolina. Marital status of his mother was “Widowed.”
On July 21, 1915, Hardy Harrison Lincoln Foster, son of Robert G. Foster and Lulu Barlow, married Emma Harriet Harwood, daughter of Thomas Randall Harwood and Mary Hannah Rorke, in West Summerland, British Columbia, Canada. Hardy and Emma were the parents of two known children, Audrey Mildred Foster and Herbert Leonard Foster.
Emma Harriet Foster died July 3, 1949 in Tacoma County, Washington.

Hardy L. Foster, 87, of 641 W. Evans St., San Bernardino, died Tuesday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was born in North Carolina and was a five-year resident of San Bernardino and a 20-year resident of California.
Survivors include his widow, Lucy A.; a son, Herbert, of Hawaii; a daughter, Audrey; a step-son, Frank Burrill of Blue Jay, and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Rose Hill Memorial Chapel Gardens. Friends may call at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel after 4 p.m. today.
