Mrs. Escoe was the daughter of the late Clarence and Annie Gann McCune and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Escoe.
A native of Athens, she was a graduate of Athens High School and longtime member of East Athens Baptist Church. She made her home in Atlanta from 1964 until 2011 at which time she moved to Milton, FL to be near her daughter.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Escoe Flournoy (Michael) of Milton, FL; son, Terry Lee Escoe (Davi) of Lawrenceville; sister, Joyce McCune Dillard of Athens; brothers, Jerry McCune and Donald McCune of Athens; grandchildren, Jenna Merritt (Dusty), Scott Flournoy, Carey Escoe (Jessica) and Terry Escoe and one great grandchild, Makayla Escoe. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time.
