The son of Jack Gene Schwartzman and Shannon Beck Anderson, Tim entered this world on Sept. 1, 1963, in Spokane, Wash. He graduated in 1981 in Superior and went on to attend North Idaho Junior College (NIJC). He was engaged to Trish Steiger of Missoula.
Tim was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who was honorably discharged. One of the highlights of Tim's life was playing a game of football on the ice at the North Pole. He did this while stationed on an ice breaker in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Tim loved Montana, it was always home to him. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He loved the pursuit of elk and trout in Montana, and steelhead in Idaho. Tim loved to process wild game and made the best jerky in the Pacific Northwest.
In Tim's lifetime, he worked various jobs from Alaska to Wyoming. Most recently, he was employed at DirecTV in Missoula.
Tim was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William and Juanita Schwartzman; maternal grandparents, Bud and Dorothy Beck; and nephew, Ric Schwartzman.
Survivors include mother, Shannon Anderson of Missoula; father, Jack Schwartzman of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; brother, David (Lisa) Schwartzman of Missoula; fiancé, Trish Steiger of Missoula; nieces, Tiffany and Ashey Schwartzman; great-niece and love of his life, Makenna Schwartzman (3 years old); best friend, Kris Vaughn of Superior; and numerous friends and family.
