Boyd Waple, 61, of Bigler was found dead of a cerebral hemorrhage in his home by a border, Herman Shearer, last evening at 5:30 o'clock.
He was born Aug. 23, 1904, at Morrisdale R. D., a son of Jesse and Annie (Rothrock) Waple.
He was custodian for the Bigler School and a member of the Clearfield Eagles. He was married to the former Ada Maines, who survives, along with his mother and sister. Mrs. William Edmunds of Frenchville.
Friends will be received in the William W. Strange Home for Funerals at Morrisdale today at 7 p.m. and until the time of service tomorrow at 1 p. m. The Rev. Leo Black will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Cemetery at Clearfield.
