Joseph was born to William and Isabella (Harvey) Mansur (linked below). He married Abiah Elliott in Danville, VT on Oct. 32, 1799 and with her had three children, Warren, William and Betsy. The family removed from Danville to Stanstead, PQ in 1816 and then to Morgan, VT in 1822. He and Abiah lived there till death.
