Charlotte A. Morgan, age 77, of Marion, went to be with her husband and Lord peacefully, November 9, 2013, at the Kobacker Hospice House at Riverside following an extended illness.

On August 21, 1936, Charlotte was born in Coshocton, Ohio, the third of four children of the late James and Dora (Jefferys) Mills.

Shortly following high school, Charlotte married the love of her life, Donald L. Morgan Sr., on August 10, 1960, in Coshocton, Ohio. Soon after they were married, they moved to the Cardington and Marion areas to be nearer to his family. Together they lovingly raised six children and shared over 35 wonderful years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1995.

For over 17 years, Charlotte worked in the dietary department at the Community MedCenter Hospital in Marion.

"A tv buff," Charlotte loved to watch football, especially her beloved Denver Broncos and Ohio State Buckeyes, and she also loved watching her soaps, NCSI, and many many more favorite shows.

Always looking for a good deal, Charlotte loved shopping. Also, in her younger days, she loved taking her family to the Auction Barn in Caledonia.

Wherever Charlotte went, you knew the entire room would be filled with laughter. She was a "goof ball", a "joker", a "cut up" and any other fun loving word you could use to describe her.

She will be dearly missed by her five children: Mike (SuCha) Moran, Darcy (Patrick) Field, Donald "Dink" (Judy) Morgan Jr., all of Marion, Jeannie (David) Herbert of Jacksonville, FL, and Joe (Debby) Morgan; a step-daughter, Debbie Lama, both of Marion; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Including her husband and parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Moran; a brother, James Mills; and two sisters: Jeannie Ayers, and Donna Brock.

Charlotte's family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12th, at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center St., Marion. Services honoring her life will also be held there on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
