Beloved daughter of the late Governor of Texas John Connolly and Idanell Brill "Nellie" Connally. Kathllen was a student at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth when she became pregnant and eloped to Ardmore, Oklahoma with Robert Hale, whom she married on March 16, 1959. They moved to Tallahassee, Florida and had been married 44 days at the time of her death by the accidental discharge of a 20 gauge shotgun. She was flown home, her funeral was then held at First Methodist Church in Fort Worth, and she was laid to rest in the family plot a few days later. She is deeply missed.
