Joseph was born on December 19, 1921 to the late John & Rose (nee Cardone) Cioffi. He was the proprietor of a Sunoco Gas Station in Long Island City, NY. He was also an avid sports fan. Joseph proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Rose (nee Ferrara) Cioffi, his children John J. (Susan) Cioffi and Christine A. (Scott) McQuistion. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and his siblings, Felix Cioffi and Gloria Lombardo.
