Awarded the Military Medal (MM) on 22 Jul 1916 in France for gallantry

Son of Charles & Amy Landaman; husband of Barbara.

Enlisted in the AIF on 26 Aug 1915 and embarked from Sydney for active service on 23 Dec 1915 abroad HMAT Seuvic (A29).

Extract from Third Supplement No. 29758 to the London Gazette of 19th September, 1916 relating to the conspicuous services rendered by the undermentioned :-
AWARDED THE MILITARY MEDAL

"HIS MAJESTY THE KING has been graciously pleased to award the Military Medal for bravery in the field to the undermentioned non-commissioned officer :- No. 3260 Lance Corporal ALBERT EDWARD LANDAMAN."
