A Private Funeral Service at His Parents' Residence.
William H. Haeselbarth, eldest son of William G. Haeselbarth, died In New York City Monday morning of consumption, aged 17 years, after a brief illness. The remains were brought to Nyack Monday night and private funeral services, at which the Rev. Dr. Leggett officiated, were held at his parents' home on Wednesday morning, after which the body was interred in the deceased's plot in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Haeselbarth was born in Nyack and received his earlier education in the Rutherford Military Academy here and in Irving Institute, Tarrytown. Later he studied law in the office of Smith & Cole, New York City, the late Judge Seth B. Cole, of Nyack, being the junior member of the firm. Later Mr. Haeselbarth entered the law school of Columbia College, from which he was graduated with honor and since practiced law in New York City. He is survived by a daughter, Edith; his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
