Anne H. Roadman passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She was born on November 25, 1918, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to Edward Astor and Mattie Dobson Hoover. She grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas. Anne began her working career as one of the early stewardesses on Braniff airlines and then had a long career as a homemaker and supportive Air Force wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband Major General (Dr.) Charles H. "Chuck" Roadman. She is survived by her daughter and husband, Keene and Howard Martin and her son and wife, Chip and Anne Roadman; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
