BOZE, Ralph W. - 1248 Arrowwood Lane, formerly of 1654 Jane St., age 78 died Sunday, August 24, 1980, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday from the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Rev. William P. Sibert officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetary[stet]. Friends desiring may make contributions to The American Cancer Society or Calvert Park Church Memorial Fund. Mr. Boze was born in Ansonia, Ohio, February 1, 1902, and had been a resident of Flint since 1921. He was united in marriage to Susie Blakeley, December 24, 1923 in Rossburg, Ohio. He was a member of the Calvert Park Community Church of God, former trustee on board, head usher, and was employed by the Buick Motor Division for 43 years, retiring in January, 1966. Surviving are: wife, Susie; 4 daughters, Mrs. Junior (Phyllis) Turner, of Ansonia, Ohio, Mrs. Raymond (Katherine) Zbiciak, of Flint, Mrs. Fred (Sue Ann) Christenson of El Paso, Texas, Helen Boze of Flint; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Orva Lanich of Gettysburg, Ohio, Mrs. Alice Cohee, of Flint, Mrs. Bertha Burke of Greenville Ohio; 2 sisters-in-law, Nina Boze, Florida and Edna Boze, Flint; nieces and nephews. His son, Robert Irwin, preceded him in death.
