Oveta R. Dilts, 58, of 614 W. Market St., died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born March 11, 1934, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Virgil C. and Mary R. Strong Knight. On May 6, 1951, in Logansport, she was married to Wallace W. Dilts, who died Dec. 24, 1976. Mrs. Dilts was employed by T.M. Morris Co., and worked part time as a real esate salesperson for Dave Hirt Realty.

Surviving are her mother, of 300 Cass Plaza; two daughters, Barbara Hickman, 901 Cliff Drive, and Anne Williams, 715 W. Melbourne Ave.; two sons, Donald J., 209 Seventh St., and Thomas E., Rt. 3, Logansport; one brother, Clifford L. Knight, Cedar City, Utah; one sister, Melba A. Sitter, 1401 College St.; seven grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rodney Brisko officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lifeline Foundation.
