"Butch" Cook, a dedicated member of Find A Grave for 6 years, 6 months and 3 days, passed away from complications of a massive heart attack. He was surrounded by his family and friends who loved him dearly.

He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1959. He moved to California, where he met the love of his life, Diana and started their family. They moved to Texas for 12 years and relocated back to Haverhill where he has stayed for the past 30 years.

Butch was a lovable man with a great sense of humor, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially hamming it up on karaoke night. He leaves many, many friends and family members with fond memories, and sadness to his parting. He was employed most recently by the Wave Guide Company in Chelmsford. Previously, he worked for Schneider Automation in North Andover, and Digital Corp., while living in Texas he owned and operated Angelo Foreign Auto Repair in San Angelo, Texas.

Butch loved music and karaoke and was a regular at several shows in the area. "Elvis is still king", Butch would say, "but there were many other greats like Fats Domino, Jerry Lee, Kris Kristofferson, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley." He loved to sing all kinds of music. His karaoke family is very big and will miss him very much. He loved motorcycles, his computer and his family. Most of all, he loved and lived for his wife, of 41 years, Diane. In addition to Diane, Butch is survived by four daughters, two sons, ten grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Butch contributed over 7,100 memorial pages to the site and he loved exploring the cemeteries and learning about the people there. Please take a minute to check out Butch's page.
