Kaye owned and operated Baskets, Bears, Etc., with her daughter, Tina. She was also the hot foods manager at Village Pantry for several years. Kaye was a former member of Mt. Pleasant Community Church in Daleville.
In her spare time, Kaye enjoyed reading and when she wasn't busy reading, she was constantly busy with something. She made many trips with her family to different places such as Myrtle Beach, Madison, IN, Holiday World/Splashin' Safari, and Tennessee, Most importantly, she loved her family and cherished the time that she spent with them.
Kaye is survived by a loving family consisting of her daughter, Tina Huber (husband-Gary); stepson, Charol Williams, Jr. (wife-Diana), Michael Williams (wife-Virginia); grandson, Brandon Reagan; special family members, Max Wiliams (friend-Shirley Johnson), Judy Noble, Gina Charles, Steve Pugsley (wife-Cindy), Barb Ledsinger (husband-Leon), Joy Boykin; and her four-legged grandson, Bear.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charol Williams; sister, Myrta "Bunny" Huffer; and special family member, Maggie Rittenhouse.
A funeral service for Kaye will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie. Visitation will be held on hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Kaye's memory to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Indiana Chapter, 9075 S. Meridian St., Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46260, or to the Autism Society of Indiana, 3951 N. Meridian St., Suite 220, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
