Mrs. Bailes was a member of Chatham United Methodist Church. She grew up in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Rodgers Bailes, so now she is in heaven holding her baby. Mary Margaret will be missed very much by her husband, who said "all his success he owes to her."
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, the Rev. Homer V. Bailes of Ruston; children Barbara Barker of Portsmouth, Ohio, William Bailes of Columbus, Ohio, Ruth Ann Riddle of Columbus, Ohio, Gloria Graves of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Juanita Howard of Pataskala, Ohio, Gleama Flovin of Columbus, Ohio, Homer Vernon Bailes of Cosby, Tenn. and John Bailes of Fern Park, Fla.; 27 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
