Robert G. Sorenson, 58, of Springfield, died Wednesday at St. John's Hospital North. He was born in Tallula, the son of Henry and Lottie E. Campbell Sorenson. A resident of Springfield most of his life, he was employed in the maintenance department of the Franklin Life Insurance Co. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Guy Sorenson, and three sisters, Mrs. Delilah Scroggins, Mrs. Norma Zink and Mrs. Wilmah Seketa. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Diana Sorenson, at home; three sons, Robert Jr., Darryl and Brian, all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Lorene Swan of Petersburg, Mrs. Georgia Foster of Tallula and Mr. Bernice Neeley and Mrs. Frank (Juanita) Herr, both of Springfield; three brothers, Campbell, Thales and Henry Samuel Jr., all of Springfield. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
