Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
Mrs. Coe died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
LaVonne Pardee was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Audubon County, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and LaMeda McNary Pardee. She married Ival "Jim" Coe Sept. 23, 1940, in Grant City, Mo. He died Nov. 5, 1993.
LaVonne was a homemaker and a loving mother to six children. She enjoyed music, playing cards and dancing at the Col Ballroom. She was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jack Green, Bettendorf; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Connie Coe, Kenosha, Wis., Bill and Nancy Coe, Ankeny, Iowa, Tom and Diana Coe, Milan, Marty and Teri Coe, East Moline, Mike and Lori Coe, Sycamore, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Chetty Pardee, St. James, Mo., Bob and Virgie Pardee, Cleveland, Texas, Jack and Phyllis Pardee, Gause, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, John Charles Coe; sister, Mary Coleen Adams; brother, Bill Pardee.
