Leonard "Lenny" Bieryt, 64 of Rural Route 4, Madison Road, Beloit, died at his home today following a long illness. He was a Beloit resident since 1952 and was born March 5, 1922, in Mellen, WI the son of Stanley and Ceceila Otto Bieryt. He married Helen Maxson Dec. 24, 1952 in Beloit. He was employed at the Beloit Foundry as a forklift driver, retiring in 1982. He was a veteran of World War 11 serving in the Army. Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Lucille Underhill and Katherine Bieryt, both of Beloit. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother. Services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Cransten Road Chapel. Burial will be at the Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
