Elizabeth Hackworth was born on December 4, 1859, in Jackson, Alabama. She married Jonas Conner on December 25, 1869, in Jackson, Alabama. They had seven children in 29 years.

Aunt Lizzie was the daughter of William Jasper Hackworth born in Alabama and Clementine Gaunts. William Conner the informant on her death certificate did not know where Clementine Conner was born.

Mrs. Conner had lived at Route 2, Elgin for 46 years, was a housewife and the widow of Jonas Conner, when she passed away on February 21, 1939 from pneumonia.

Mrs. Conner was buried on February 22, 1939 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bastrop County.

On the 1910 Lee County Census we find Aunt Lizzie living with her husband Jonas age 61 born in Tennessee, he stated his father was born in Ireland. Also in the household were their children and children, daughter-in-law and grandchild:
