She was born Margaret J. Kemp on July 4, 1919 in Peck, the daughter of the late Orval Kemp and Mary Ellen "Mayme" (Cantlin) Kemp.
She was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sandusky, and a 1939 graduate of Peck High School.
Margaret married Paul F. Drabant on December 26, 1942 in Sandusky. He passed away on December 5, 2006.
She worked and retired from Trelleborg and also sold Avon for many years. Margaret enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre and poker.
She was survived by one son, Larry (Barbara) Drabant of Sandusky; one sister, Marie Kruse of Port Huron; grandchildren, Rick and Diane Drabant, Roxann and Bruce Green, Ryan and Alisa Drabant, and Renee and Jason Krause.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Roth and a brother, George Kemp.
