Edward Lee Ipock

Edward Lee Ipock, 92, of Dawson Springs passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Nebo. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mazie Ipock; daughter Joy Morris; three brothers; and a sister.

Mr. Ipock was a member of Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church in Providence, and worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by one daughter, Bertha Ann Harris of Clay; five sons, Tommy Ray Fletcher, Bruce Fletcher, both of Madisonville, Eugene Ipock of Providence, Thomas Earl Ipock of Coiltown and Fabian Ipock of Madisonville; one sister, Lucille Demoss of Madisonville; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Sister Mirada officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.barnettstrother.com.
