NILES - Ida K. Slezyak, 75, 330 Sheridan Ave., died Tuesday at 6:37 p.m. in Trumbull Memorial Hospital , following a long illness.
She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Louis and Ida Bakos Kover, and moved to Niles in 1949 from Fowler.
Mrs. Slezyak retired in 1975 as an LPN, after working 15 years for Dr. Roth Nissen.
She was a 1956 graduate of Choffin School of Practical Nursing and member of First United Presbyterian Church of Niles and Niles SCOPE and AARP.
Besides her husband, Stanley Slezyak, whom she married Oct. 8, 1949, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Gaylene Kennon of Broaddus, Texas, and Mrs. Matilda McDivitt of Windham.
A sister, Mrs. Irene Crain, is deceased.
The service is 11 a.m. Friday in Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel, where burial will follow.
