Sara Goldhirsh Dash died peacefully at home in her 88th year on December 17, 2013. Sara was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Cantor Charles and Hannah Goldhirsh. Her husband of 58 years, Samuel Dash predeceased her on May 29, 2004. She is survived by her two daughters, Judi-Ellen Dash of Beachwood and Huron, OH and Rachel Ann Dash of Alum Creek, WV. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Bethesda Jewish Congregation, 6601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, MD. Arrangements by Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc. under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington Contract.
