Services were held yesterday in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D. C., for Marine Capt. James Joseph Carroll, Jr., killed in combat Oct. 5 in Vietnam. His wife, Pauline, and their year-old son, John J. III, are staying at 21480 Hilliard Rd., Rocky River. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary G. Carroll of Miami Beach, Fla.
