Fred Sinner was born on November 6, 1914, in Culbertson, Ne. to August and Marie Sinner, the fourth of eight children. He passed away on December 25, 2013, at age 99. The family moved to Fresno in 1930 where he graduated from High School in 1934. He served in the 13th Armored Division in WWII and was a trucker both before and after the war. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, August, Henry, and Harold; and sisters, Marie Sinner, Lydia Ryan, and Caroline Preis. In 1941 Fred married Lora Heinz and they enjoyed life together for 61 years until her death in 2002. He is survived by their daughter, Mary Ann (Eric) Lindell; two granddaughters, Tamara Chavez-Lindell (Jose), and Nissa Norris (Marshall);and three great-grandchildren. Fred is also survived by one sister, Ruth Koehler; and many nieces and nephews. Fred was a wonderful man, a caring husband, father and grandfather, generous & kind. He was a hard worker, a fisherman, a golfer, a builder, a joker, full of fun and full of life. He will be missed. Interment at Mt. View Cemetery on Friday, Jan 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service will be held at Wildrose Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be sent to your favorite charity .
