Edward Lewis Baker and Julia Edwards Baker also had a son named Edward Lewis Baker sometime around 1859.

Word was received yesterday by A. S. Edwards of the death of his sister, Mrs. Julia Edwards Baker, widow of the late E. L. Baker, which occurred at midnight Wednesday night at her home in Chicago. Deceased was born in this city, but had not resided here for the past thirty years.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ninian W. Edwards, formerly of this city, her mother being Elizabeth Todd. She was the granddaughter of former Governor Ninian Edwards. Her husband, E. L. Baker, was United States consul to Buenos Ayres, South American, and died there on July 8, 1897. Since her husband's death Mrs. Baker has resided in Chicago.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julia O'Brien of Chicago; two sons, Willis Baker, United States consul to Rosarie, Argentine Republic, South America, and Lewis Baker, holding a government position in the Philippines; two brothers, A. S. Edwards of this city and Charles D. Edwards of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Clover, of Washington. - IL State Register, Springfield, IL, 7-31-1908
