Christian Science services will be read Thursday at 10 a.m. at West Side Cemetery by John Burch of Bakersfield for longtime Taft resident Leon A. Wright of 327 F. St., who passed away Sunday evening. Mr. Wright was born Feb. 3, 1921 in Bonnerdale, Ark., and had lived in Taft for the past 33 years. He was employed by Calhoun Electric Company. Survivors include his wife, Virginia of Taft; one daughter. his mother, Bessie A. Wright of Taft; three brothers, and one grandson. Military rites will also be conducted. Erickson & Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
