U.S. Veteran Cleo Junior Cherry June 26, 1924 to December 19, 2013 Dad passed away in Yuma AZ on December 19, 2013.He was born June 26, 1924 to James and Nettie Clark Cherry in Ogden, Utah. He attended Ogden City schools, and served his country in the Army and Air Force. In 1955 he married Ardell Bodily. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. He worked for the SP railroad for 35 years retiring in 1980. He was the president of the SP Old Timers assoc. He is survived by his wife, Ardell; 3 daughters, Christine (Dave) Casteel of Roy, UT; Sonja Mcintosh of Yuma, AZ; Anne (Reg) Gomes and 1 son, Lynn Griswold of CA. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family gives special thanks for the companionship, and friendship that Johnny Morales showed him thru the years especially the later ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, bothers, sisters , in-laws, and many very good friends. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 10 to 10:30 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, UT. Interment will immediately follow at 11 am at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden, UT . In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to The Alzheimer's Assoc.Cleo J. Cherry, 89, of Yuma, passed away at home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a machinist for the railroad.

Services will be held in Ogden.
