Geraldine (Jeri) L. Long, 91, entered eternal life on a Thursday, in the "Home for the Age" at Bishop Noa Home.

She was the daughter of Edward N. and Clodia L. (Hetu) Archambeau.

Preceding her in death, besides parents, was her beloved husband, Clifford F. Long on March 22, 1988; brothers, Donald Archambeau in 1975 and Robert Archambeau in 2004; and sister, June L. Hutchens in 2005.

Geraldine so enjoyed being a homemaker. She was graced with an understanding and a wisdom that gathered people into her life. She had an interest in watching the news and being up to date. She considered it a privilege to always vote. Her New Year resolution was "may everyday be marked by an act of kindness toward someone." She lived a lively faith in God and in Jesus Christ. She was a member of St. Joseph St. Patrick Catholic Church.

She was survived by: stepdaughter, a number of step-grand and great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and a special nephew, and a special niece.

Visitation at the Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services with Rev. Walter J. Sheedlo. Burial in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
