Son of Ernest Holloway and Mildred Joyce Bevan Holloway, of Bridstow, Hereford.

226 Squadron was based at RAF Hemswell, Lincolnshire.
Reginald was a member of a six man aircrew of an RAF bomber which crashed during the landing approach to Hemswell, following a bombing mission to Germany.
