Mrs. Evangeline Phillips, 89, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Packman, 332 10-A St. N.W.
Born in Enfield, England, she had resided in Calgary for the past 38 years. She was a member of Hillhurst Baptist church.
Her husband, George, died in Calgary in 1906, and a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Cook, died in 1935 in Calgary.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E. Mears and Mrs. F. Packman, both of Calgary; two sons, Herman, Pasadena, Calif.; Frank, Baldwin Park, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. M. Turner, Auckland, N.Z.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Jacques funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. H.E. Nordlund and Rev. G.G. Ashdown officiating. Burial will be in the family plot, Union cemetery.
