DAVID LEE ARTHUR, 55, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Washington County Hospital. Born July 4, 1952, in Wadestown, W.Va., he was the son of Violet Wise Myers of Hagerstown and the late Alva D. Arthur.

Mr. Arthur was a member of the Woodpoint Christian Assembly Church, Hagerstown where he was Commander of the Royal Rangers. He was Director of Maintenance with Goodwill Industries, Hagerstown. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.

In addition to his mother, he also is survived by his stepfather, Earl Myers; two sisters, Judy Prince and husband Bill of Fairmont, W.Va. and Janet Frey of Hagerstown; two stepbrothers, Vaughn Myers and Ronnie Myers; three stepsisters, Peggy Eyler, Tanya Myers and Nancy Zeis; one nephew, Jeremy Prince; two nieces, Joslyn Yanero and husband Roger and Heather Arthur and fianc Steven Bloyer; two great-nephews, Jonathan Yanero and Jared Bloyer; and two great-nieces, Alexis Harvey and Giana Yanero.

In addition to his father, he also was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason Prince.

Funeral services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown; interment followed in Rest Haven Cemetery.
