OBITUARY
We regret to record the death of Miss Charlotte Cornwell, which took place at her late residence in Lennox-street, Richmond, on the 4th instant, at the advanced age of 83 years. She was an aunt of Mr. Arthur Cornwell, of Richmond, and a sister of the late John Cornwell, of Paget Street, Richmond. The late Miss Cornwell was a daughter of John Cornwell I., who married Miss Ann Eaton, a member of a very old family who lived for many years near the junction of the Grose and Nepean Rivers. The subject of this notice, though living a quiet life, was well known and respected in Richmond, as evidenced by the large attendance of relatives and friends at the funeral on Saturday. The remains were laid to rest in St. Peter's Church of England Cemetery, Rev. F. J. Dillon conducting the last sad rites. Mr. A. A. Price was the undertaker.
