She is reunited with her parents; husband of 38 years, Paul R. Lopez; daughter, Christine Bang; granddaughter, Julie Ann Bang and 8 siblings. She leaves to cherish fond memories, two daughters, Monica Magill and Annette Jaime; son, Paul Lopez, Jr. and wife Angelica; son-in-law, Bruce M. Bang; grandchildren, James Magill, Sophia and Bruce W. Bang, Joseph, Breanna and Andrew Jaime and Michael and Alexander Lopez; two sisters, Isabel Peña and Virginia Gonzales; brother, Jesse Peña and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday, January 12, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Dr., 77080. Luz will be laid to rest beside her husband at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
