Chisholm, Katey Jane – Brookfield, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on November 26, 2013. Born in Yarmouth on January 14, 1976, she was a daughter of the late David A. and Mary Bruce (Wilson) Fisher. Katey attended Brookfield Memorial and Brookfield Junior High Schools. She graduated from C.E.C. where she had been a member of the school band. Katey attended Success Business College and Lucien's School of Beauty in Truro. She was a member of the staff of Signature Styles, Truro.
Katey is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Chloe; brothers, Jamie, Halifax; P.J., Shortt's Lake; sisters-in-law, Jeannette Decker, Burnside; Tracey Fisher, Shortt's Lake; nieces, Samantha, Natalie, Courtney, Hayley, Maggie; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Linda Chisholm, Pictou.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Knox United Church, Brookfield, Rev. Boyd Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Brookfield. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
