Susan Baylin Feldhuhn, 71, of St. Michaels, died on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. Mrs. Feldhuhn was born in New York City, on January 30, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Louis A. Baylin and Rose Weinberg Baylin.

She was an educator, teaching high school Biology with over 28years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Russell Sage College in 1963, and her Master of Science degree from New York University 1964.
From 1964 - 1965, Mrs. Feldhuhn taught Biology at New Brunswick High School in Middlesex County, New Jersey. After relocating to Montgomery County, MD, she taught Biology from 1974-1975 at Charles Smith Jewish Day School. In 1975, she began teaching Public schools, including twenty years in an Advanced Placement Program at Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, MD, and another four years in an International Baccalaureate Program at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD. In 2000, she taught Biology at St. Alban's Episcopal School in Washington, DC.
She was an active volunteer from 2001 – 2003 at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center, and from 2003 – 2013 for the Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research, Inc.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert H. Feldhuhn of St. Michaels, whom she married on June 21, 1964, a son and daughter in law, Andrew and Amy Feldhuhn, of Short Hills, NJ, a son, Richard Feldhuhn, of Redondo Beach CA, grandsons, Seth and Ian Feldhuhn, sister in law, Marcia Baylin, of Chicago, IL, sister in law, Laurie Malden, of New York City, NY, cousins, Jane Krause and her husband, David, of Miami, FL and Carol Loewith and her husband, Bud of Scottsdale, AZ, John Adler and his wife, Jackie, of San Diego, CA, Andrew Adler, of New York City, NY, nieces and nephews, Marc Baylin and his wife Pauline, of Doylestown, PA, Julie Forgash, and her husband Jeffrey, of Evanston, IL, and Russell Baylin and his wife Huda, of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Baylin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at Temple B'nai Israel, 101 W. Earle Ave., Easton, MD 21601. Interment will follow in Oxford Cemetery.
