JONESPORT - Virginia Pearl Alley, 95 passed on Dec. 21, 2013 after a short illness. She was born on June 9, 1918, in Jonesport and educated in the Jonesport Schools. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Hatt; grandchildren, Dwayne Johnson and wife Ethel; Buddy Hatt and wife Jeanette, and Heidi Hinkley and husband Billy; great-grandchildren, Marianne Johnson and fiancée Robert; Jessica Johnson; Andrea Lagesse and husband Joe; Amanda Chattley and husband Lawrence; Colton Hatt and fiancé Emily; Alexis Hatt; Kylie Hinkley and Douglas Hinkley. Also special sister-in-law Dorothy Alley along with special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Emma Alley; her beloved husband of 50 years, Maynard; sisters Beaulah Alley and Lois Faulkingham; brothers Alfred and Maurice Alley; an infant daughter, Margaret; brothers-in-law Raymond and Leland Alley; and a great-granddaughter, April Hatt.
A memorial service will be held January 11, 2014 at the Community of Christ Church in Jonesport.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Emma Alley; her beloved husband of 50 years, Maynard; sisters Beaulah Alley and Lois Faulkingham; brothers Alfred and Maurice Alley; an infant daughter, Margaret; brothers-in-law Raymond and Leland Alley; and a great-granddaughter, April Hatt.
