Henry Berger Dies
Funeral Yesterday
After being seriously ill from heart trouble two weeks, Henry Berger, 78, died at his home on Propsom street Monday. He was a native of Two Rivers, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Berger, born Dec. 19, 1858. Thirteen years ago he came to Sturgeon Bay.
Surviving are the widow, formerly Miss Clara Machia, whom Mr. Berger married at Algoma June 16, 1886; one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Douglas, Miles' City, Mont., and one brother, Fred E. Berger of this city.
Services were conducted by the Rev. E F. Helmich at Stoneman's funeral home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Interment was at Bayside. Pallbearers were Capt. John Moore, August O. Jenburg, Fred Berger Jr., Dave Machia, Leonard Stoneman and Elmer Whitford.
